CIS Student Objectives:

All students in the CIS course will be assigned learning objectives from the ordered list below based upon prior observations and assessments. Review each assigned site/link carefully and try all programming examples presented before proceeding to the next assigned learning objective. A cumulative written examination is required to advance to the next learning objective(s). Please see your instructor for your personal learning objectives.

In addition to the learning objectives presented on this site, every high school student at TCHS is required to complete an academic portfolio and a pseudo-interview prior to graduation. To meet this eventuality, several Career Templates and Resources were collected on the school's Moodle Site under the course titled “Career Portfolio”. Please download all the files presented in this course and complete the research project prior to the end of the second marking period. Senior pseudo-interviews will be scheduled during the second semester. (Note: Seniors must complete the entire portfolio, including three research projects, prior to the end of the second marking period.)
